1949 Pontiac coupe

My new winter project

I was reading some E-bay ads when this 49 Pontiac Business Coupe show up on the screen. I like these coupes with its short roof and long ass so I just had to bid on this beauty. Well after five days this picture shows up on my screen when I logged in. Yes, I was the new owner of this Poncho.

This is some of the pics the seller sent me.

Loading the 49 in Melbourne Florida for the trip down to the Miami port.

The first container ship took the car from Miami to Rotterdam via Le Havre France and Antwerp Belgium and the EU customs clearance were made in Rotterdam, Holland, where the container was unloaded and then loaded onto a smaller ship for transport to Gothenburg via three ports in Norway. In other words, this old Poncho-Indian is now well-traveled and have seen five countries since the departure from Florida.

I borrowed a truck and drove home with the Pontiac on the back and the car ended up in my garage together with my Oldsmobile.
